About Kenny

My Story.

There was a time in my life when I had to admit that the way I was living wasn’t working.

Kenny Keith, founder of Soteria Coaching

From Kenny

I knew how to show up, do what was expected of me, and be the person other people thought I was.

But there was another side of my life that people didn’t see.

I made choices that didn’t line up with the person I wanted people to believe I was, or with the man I actually wanted to be.

And the longer I lived that way, the more complicated it became.

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from pretending to be someone you’re not.

You spend so much energy managing what people know, what they don’t know, what they might find out, and what you have to do to keep the story together.

Eventually, I had to face myself.

I began learning what it meant to live in the light.

To tell the truth.

To stop managing appearances.

To take responsibility for my choices and understand the patterns underneath them.

That process didn’t happen overnight.

It required difficult conversations. It required accountability. It required humility. It required me to look at things I would have much rather avoided.

But somewhere along the way, I discovered something I hadn’t understood before:

There is freedom on the other side of the truth.

What it taught me

That experience changed me.

It changed the way I understand personal growth, relationships, recovery, and living with integrity.

I’ve learned that a man can be successful, respected, loved, and responsible, and still be carrying something he doesn’t know how to talk about.

He can know he needs to change and still feel trapped in the patterns that keep taking him back to the same place.

That’s a big part of why I became a coach.

I want men to know they don’t have to spend the rest of their lives protecting a version of themselves that isn’t real.

There is another way to live.

Honesty instead of pretending.

Freedom instead of hiding.

If you’re ready to start building that for yourself, I’m here to help.

You don’t have to have the whole path figured out. You just have to be willing to take the first honest step.

— Kenny

My approach

Change requires more than good intentions.

I believe men are capable of meaningful change.

My role isn’t to tell you who you should become. It’s to help you understand where you are, clarify where you want to go, and take intentional steps toward the life you’re trying to build.

My faith is an important part of who I am and how I see people, purpose, restoration, and change.

It shapes how I coach: meeting you where you are, listening without judgment, and helping you discover what’s possible.

The name

Why Soteria?

The word soteria comes from the Greek word for salvation, deliverance, preservation, and being brought to safety.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
Psalm 40:2

For me, the idea behind Soteria is bigger than simply getting through something difficult.

It’s about finding your way out of what is keeping you stuck and moving toward something healthier, more intentional, and more whole.

Sometimes that means recovery.

Sometimes it means rebuilding.

Sometimes it means figuring out who you are after a major life change.

And sometimes you simply know that the way you’ve been living isn’t working anymore.

Wherever you are starting, you don’t have to figure out the entire path at once. You just need to find the next step.
